The purpose of this blog is to store lyrics and chords (when available) for all of the songs in the John Haefner Songbooks. This Blog is a work in progress and the entire project may take several years, but when it is over there should be well over 2,000 songs on this site.
Click on the “categories” (letters of the alphabet) to the right or enter words in the search box (upper right) to find a song.
When your song comes up, click on “view full post” to access lyrics, lyrics and chord links, and performance audio and video links.
IF YOU WANT TO HELP (and I sure need it) go to www.wordpress.com and sign up (don’t create a blog, just get a user I.D.) send my your email address that you used to create the user ID, and I’ll invite you to be a contributor. (email me at helpyourself@johntwurzer.com)
Once you’re a contributor, you can post performance links, links to chords and lyrics, or just background notes about the song to any song that is currently in the 1_SONGS THAT NEED LINKS category. Post them as comments and I will add them to the original posting as time permits.
